Strange it may sound but the ruling TRS which is going all out to win GHMC elections is not thanking Gods for making its job easier but Opposition parties Congress and BJP.
Both the parties have created a positive atmosphere for TRS in GHMC limits just four days ahead of crucial GHMC polling with their major blunders.
Shockingly, the leader of Opposition and senior Congress leader K Jana Reddy himself committed a major blunder by patting the TRS government on its Rs 5 per plate meals scheme in city.
Congress leaders are shocked Jana praising TRS government scheme at a time when the party is waging a do or die battle against TRS in GHMC elections.
They say as leader of Opposition Jana is supposed to lead the attack against TRS, but shockingly he convened a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, bought Rs 5 per plate meals scheme for himself, other leaders and journalists, had the meals and praised the TRS government for maintaining quality of meals.
Some Congress leaders see 'conspiracy' behind them and suspect Jana to be the covert for TRS and KCR.
Senior Congress leader Palvai Goverdhan Reddy who lashed out at Jana for this act threatened to complain against him to party high command.
Even, the BJP also made a blunder at this last minute by announced the list of 20 smart cities, in which Telangana got none while AP got two smart cities.
No one knows what forced BJP to announce this list just 5 days ahead of polling. The TRS has now turned this a major election issue alleging discrimination by BJP led Central government towards Telangana.
CM KCR already lashed out at union urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu alleged that he discriminated Telangana in allocation of smart cites while KTR has been aggressively campaigning against Telangana BJP leaders saying that they could not bring even smart city status for any city in Telangana and questioned how can they bring special funds from Centre for development of Hyderabad as is being promised by BJP-TDP combine in GHMC elections and in their manifestos.
