Former minister and senior Congress leader of Rayalaseema JC Diwakar Reddy here on Saturday felt that opposing Telangana Bill in the Assembly would yield no result and the proess of formation of separate Telangana State cannot be stopped under any circumstances.
Speaking to the media, Diwakar Reddy said he strongly felt that Seemandhra ministers and legislators could not halt the process of bifurcation of the State by opposing Telangana Bill in the Assembly.
Stating that making Hyderabad as a common capital for the two States would be of no use after bifurcation of the State, he opined that the people of Seemandhra should have their own State as soon as possible as the Centre had clearly stated that “Seemandhras were living in a rented house”. He advised the Seemandhra leaders to get ready to build a new capital within a year.
Diwakar Reddy also made it clear that he would neither join TDP or YSRCP nor would be contesting in the next elections.
