Chandra Babu’s close aide, TDP parliamentary party leader and well-known industrialist Sujana Choudhary will be lending his business acumen and expertise to help the Andhra Pradesh government in resource management.
It is a known fact that RBI has been insisting on loan rescheduling instead of waiver of loans. So, the Andhra Pradesh government has come up with this new idea.
The story in media is that a committee headed by Sujana Choudary was appointed which submitted its report to the government after considering various options.
Accordingly, it is said to have suggested that the AP government can generate Rs 25,000 crore by mortgaging some of its properties.
They have said that if RBI does not change its stand, then the government needs to look at the next best viable alternative.
Now, the news is that the committee will look for such resources under the guidance of Sujana Choudary who is quite a pro in such matters.
It now remains to be seen how he will use his corporate skills to solve the problem of loan waiving for the Andhra Pradesh government.
