From the time Chiranjeevi has joined politics, life has not been the same for him in terms of credibility and reputation. His hard earned image as the megastar took a bad beating. And in the last few months, Chiru had a golden chance to become a mega political star but he didn’t use it wisely.
When Sonia Gandhi made the Telangana announcement, he gave statement to the media that they ie the Seemandhra ministers got cheated. Even MP Lagadapati Rajagopal said they were removed like a straw without a second thought. But here is the missed chance for Chiru.
Many say instead of giving such stale statement if he had thrown his resignation letter on Sonia’s face all that political comedian tag he got would have got removed and he would have become political megastar.
Of course, two things might be the cause for him surrendering meekly. As a tourism minister he must have done something which could make him a target of CBI.
Secondly, he would have lost the support of Telangana region. But by doing like this has he got any support or positive outcome? Public would be interested in a powerful man with brave decision making. No one will connect with his past but present. So, it is not sure why Chiru missed this chance.
