The TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu played his conniving role in ensuring that Telangana is granted and in a way he has also betrayed the faith and conviction of the Telugus.
Now that Telangana has become a reality, he is moving forward with the slogan that he will make Seemandhra as Singapore.
But public is not foolish to believe that. They are criticizing this agenda of Naidu and asking “Is Seemandhra a separate country to implement your policies? It is part of a nation. In Singapore the currency value and tax rules are different which attracts worldwide companies. It grew with its own economic policies and reforms. Most importantly, it also controls the media which gives a picture that the country is peaceful and good for investment. The law and order is very strict.”
They also reminded Naidu that the development plans for Seemandhra will now start with deficit budget of nearly 8000 crores. So, if Naidu wants to do anything first he needs to get revenues.
Most importantly, he needs to look at welfare and then talk about development else nobody will connect. As of now, his Singapore slogan has become a major comedy and everyone is having a hearty laugh about it.
