Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who defected from TDP to TRS, came down heavily on TDP chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu for admitting YSRCP MLAs into TDP. He termed Chandrababu as a 'shameless creature' in politics.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan today, Talasani said Chandrababu owes an explanation to public in both Telangana and AP over why he admitted YSRCP MLAs into TDP without seeking their resignation for MLA posts.
Talasani said, "On one hand, Chandrababu preaches and talks about values, morals and principles in politics as if he is Satya Harishchandra Maharaj. On the other hand, he is luring YSRCP MLAs to join TDP by offering posts and money.
When I joined TRS from TDP, he raised a hue and cry saying that I should resign for TDP MLA post and seek reelection. Babu should now clarify whether the same applies to four YSRCP MLAs and an MLC, who joined TDP."
Talasani added, "When TDP MLAs joined TRS, Chandrababu said the TRS has bought TDP MLAs like animals in the market. He should now tell whether he also purchased YSRCP MLAs like animals in the market. Chandrababu is such a shameless creature that Indian politics have never witnessed. He can talk anything. He is a spineless person."
Talasani said Chandrababu can stoop down to any level for political power. "Recently, during GHMC poll campaigning in Hyderabad, Chandrababu targeted TDP MLAs who joined TRS and appealed public to teach them a fitting lesson with their vote.
However, it's a different issue that Hyderabad people taught fitting lesson to Chandrababu by giving TDP just one seat out of 150. It's not even one month since GHMC elections are over. Chandrababu started encouraging defections from YSRCP openly and admitting YSRCP MLAs shameslessly."
