Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister might talk of turning the state into model state, but his style of functioning remains the same.
It is being said that he continues to hold long meetings with bureaucrats to review the functioning of various departments.
Though the Telugu newspapers haven’t been carrying any stories on these lines, the English dailies have already started carrying stories on the issue.
Apparently, the Babus are disgruntled that the review meetings held in Secretariat daily are not leading to anything and are sheer waste of time as points that have been discussed in the past are being discussed over and over.
It is being said that on some days, the review meetings go on for six hours and the Babus are unhappy that they are unable to get any other work done on such days.
They also complain that waiting at the CM’s office is also eating away into their time.
Incidentally, two review meetings are being held on any given day. However, since the first meeting is getting delayed, the second one is also getting delayed and this is causing much chaos, complain the bureaucrats.
They say meetings about loan waivers, smart village, Swachch Bharath are useless as there is nothing new to talk about for now.
Unless there is something new to talk about and unless there is no new development, these meetings have no meaning they opine.
It is being said that the top-ranking officers are also sharing a lot of jokes on the issue. Well, shouldn’t the CM be more aware of their opinions?
