Chandra Babu Outplays Tollywood

Memu Saitam has been successfully wrapped up. All film stars and technicians participated with great enthusiasm and the industry gave away a cheque of Rs 11.5 crores for the Vizag relief fund to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu.

When he was handed the cheque, Chandra Babu had said that Tollywood must now take up the task of building the colony.

Naturally, this is currently the hot topic of discussion in Tollywood as the industry biggies are trying to break their head about what exactly Babu meant by it.

For starters, no accounting has been done for the Rs 11.5 crore donated. It is known that about Rs 3 crores was given by Gemini TV and what about the rest of Rs 8.5 crores?

Did the dinner, cricket, donations and advertisements add up to Rs 8.5 crores? Well, according to inside sources, the answer is ‘no’.

It is being said that the donations announced by various stars following the Hud Hud cyclone have also been added into this amount, they reveal.

Apparently, the money given by Tamil star Surya and his family has also been included in the amount.

In fact, the facts will be out only if Memu Saitam team sends across a break-up of the accounts instead of sending across a note carrying the name of all actresses who participated in the show, feel many.
