Vatti Vasantha Kumar has said that the Union Home Minister would have assumed that there was a common opinion about Telangana after getting letters from the TDP and YSRCP.
He also added that it was quite possible to change opinions expressed in earlier letters. Like him, he said that Chandra Babu Naidu and Jagan were like heirs to Indira Gandhi and they could change their opinions.
He pointed out that it was Seemandhra leaders who were for a unified state and expressed his angst that the bifurcation was happening against the wishes of people.
He also warned that the Congress will lose out due to this decision.
He said he was saddened by the bifurcation despite being born in 1953, before the formation of Andhra Pradesh. He wondered how it would have affected those who are born after its formation.
Vasantha Kumar also took the opportunity to point out that all major industries were located around Hyderabad.
