News from the Capital is that the Centre is contemplating imposing President’s Rule in the state. For the past one week, there have been many discussions about the Centre choosing between imposing President’s Rule and appointing a make-do Chief Minister.
At one point, it was said that Congress was ready to appoint a Chief Minister and was considering Chiranjeevi’s candidature.
However, both the Seemandhra leaders and Telangana leaders had requested the Centre to form a new government instead.
Now it is being said that the High Command does not want to have further hassles by picking a chief minister and might go ahead with their initial plan of imposing President’s Rule.
The Centre is likely to take a final decision on Friday.
