The newly formed Telangana government and TRS leadership have been doing their best to be in the good books of Centre ever since they have come to power. But looks like their efforts haven’t borne fruits.
The BJP leaders have been showering criticism on TRS in Telangana. While this is already a pain point for the government, there are new stories emerging which say that TRS is disappointed as the central government hasn’t allotted enough funds for the newly formed state.
Since the Telangana government was hoping to get Rs 11,000 crores as per the five-year plan, they got a mere Rs 3000 crores finally.
The finance ministry says that since the T government has many big projects and plans lined up, there is shortage of funds. Now, the Centre has cut down on the amount allotted to them, due to this, it has resulted in a rather difficult situation, says the department.
Apparently, all the finance secretaries and secretaries of various departments have been asked by the T government to keep in constant touch with the Centre to remind them of the remaining amount.
