Minister for Infrastructure and Investment Ganta Srinivas Rao, a known integrationist and a supporter of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Thursday alleged that party high command was trying to bring Telangana bill from back door.
Speaking to the media, Ganta said no State was formed against State assembly’s decision and if the Telangana Bill was introduced in the Assembly, majority of the members would oppose it.
Ganta said the process of bifurcation would get a halt at one stage.
It was told that A K Antony committee would visit the State, but it had not come.
No assurance of Digvijay Singh was fulfilled till now and the happenings were just opposite of whatever he said, he regretted.
“Digvijay is saying different things each day. In the beginning, he said that a resolution on Telangana would be sent to the Assembly. Now, he is saying that a draft Bill would be sent. This clearly exposes the back door methods being adopted by the Centre to push forward its agenda to bifurcate the State,” he alleged.
