CBN attacks Diggy on twitter

TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu is now using the twitter as the medium to attack his political rivals.

In the latest instance, Naidu tweeted that the AICC General Secretary in-charge of AP affairs, Digvijay Singh, is a "rejected leader" in his home state of Madhya Pradesh. "Rejected and hounded out by his own people, Digvijay Singh is trying to find rehabilitation in Andhra Pradesh," Naidu tweeted.

The TDP president attacked the Congress central leadership for trying to drive a wedge between the Telugu people for its own electoral gains. He also used the twitter to criticize the Kiran Kumar Reddy government for the pathetic power situation in the state.

"It is because of the inefficiency and poor management that we have massive power cuts in cities and towns across the state," he said.

"The Congress will have to pay heavily for its inefficiency, corruption and poor performance," Naidu tweeted.

Despite all his tall talk of being cyber-savvy, the TDP chief has been very slow in adapting himself to the new technology.

For instance, at a time when leading politicians in the country are aggressively using social networking sites and micro-blogging sites to reach out to people, Naidu clearly lagged behind in using these new-age tools and platforms.

It was only recently that Naidu took to twitter to air his views on various issues. More importantly, he has been using the micro-blogging site to attack his political rivals like Congress and YSR Congress Party.

He had joined facebook only last year and has only  13,485 likes, a dismal figure compared to lakhs of followers for leaders like Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Clearly, he is totally lagging behind in cyber popularity.
