Cases have been booked against the Vice-Chancellor of JNTU, Hyderabad, Professor Rameswara Rao and his daughter, Anjani by the Kukatpally police.
Anjani got married on Friday and it was the second marriage for her. But the divorce of her first marriage with a techie, Kalyan had not yet come through.
Hence, the father of Kalyan lodged a complaint with authorities saying that the Vice- Chancellor and his daughter were guilty of breaking the law by going in for a second marriage without a divorce from the first one.
This is unfortunately bad publicity for such a venerated person who is heading such a reputed institution.
