Can They Bring Moneybags In Special Aircraft?

As frustration sets in among the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) camp, its leaders are making outlandish allegations against the Congress and some of them sound laughable.

The latest charge made by the TDP leaders is that moneybags have been flown by a special BSF aircraft from Delhi to buy the support of Seemandhra legislators for the draft Telangana bill.

"Crores of rupees have been brought to Hyderabad by the special flight to manage the Seemandhra leaders. The AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh is also here for the same purpose. They are offering huge inducements to the Seemandhra Congress legislators to support the bill for bifurcation of the state," senior TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu.

Another TDP leader and MLA from Krishna district Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao said "hundreds of crores" have landed in Hyderabad to purchase the legislators.

"The Congress is prepared to bribe Rs 10 to Rs 15 crore to each MLA for supporting the division of the state," he said.

The joint secretary in the Union Home Ministry  S Suresh Kumar flew down to Hyderabad from Delhi by a special flight of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday with the copies of Andhra Pradesh re-organisation Bill, 2013 and personally handed over the copies of the bill to the Chief Secretary P K Mohanty and Assembly Secretary Sadaram.

Furiously reacting to this, the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said,“What is the need to send the bill copies in a special Border Security Force aircraft? Is Delhi waging a war against Andhra Pradesh? What are they thinking about us? I will not keep quiet. I will teach them a fitting lesson.”
