Despite the fact that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy made a scathing attack on Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he is still being viewed with suspicion over the alleged nexus between both the parties.
Telugu Desam Party on Sunday questioned as to whether Jagan would stage a dharna in front of Sonia Gandhi’s residence at New Delhi, demanding that the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh be stopped.
“Jagan’s speech clearly indicated that he has tacit understanding with Sonia and Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao,” TDP senior leaders Devneni Uma and Babu Rajendra Prasad said.
They pointed out that Jagan, in his 40 minutes speech, never uttered a single word against TRS president Chandrasekhar Rao who was mainly responsible for division of the State.
Jagan should disclose what his intention behind this was, the TDP leaders asked.
“Jaganmohan Reddy should remember his earlier remarks that every member of his family is in support of Telangana,” they said and added that it was not Samaikya Sankharavam meeting of YSRC, but it was Samaikya Dongala Sankharavam.
