This is election season, and there has been a significant competition for political ads from the YCP among the prominent figures surrounding the Chief Minister and CMO.
Right from advisors, officials, and everyone with access to the Chief Minister, efforts are being made to impress him with prototypes and ample ads to secure the bulk contract.
Generally, if something interests the CM, the contract would be awarded to the person at a value ranging from Rs 20 Cr to Rs 30 Cr.
Considering the usual standards of election ads, the costs typically do not exceed Rs 2 Cr to Rs 3 Cr at the upper limit. Therefore, winning the contract could result in substantial savings.
The competition within the CMO is intense, and apart from this many ad film companies are actively lobbying, placing their faith in various influential players.
Once the contract is awarded, the recipient only needs to hire an ad film company to create and shoot the ads. Telecasting costs are separate and not part of this contract.
In the end, it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious and secure the jackpot contract.
