With competition getting intense for party tickets in the Telangana region, the Telangana Congress Committee has decided to take precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents from ticket aspirants.
Apparently expecting lot of trouble in the coming few days over the allocation of tickets and in view of its history of witnessing violent protests by the aspirants who were denied tickets, the Congress party has hired a private security agency, Excel Security Services, to guard party's headquarters Gandhi Bhavan at Nampally.
As many 25 bouncers in plain Safari suits took over the security of Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday.
Sources say that the number of guards will be increased in the coming few days, especially during the release of candidates lists for ensuing elections.
