Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday indirectly warned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of a disciplinary action against him for defying the Congress high command on the State bifurcation issue.
Speaking to media on Monday, Botsa alleged that some leaders who were planning to float a new party were blaming the Centre for taking up bifurcation.
“Those leaders who are planning switch loyalties are resorting to blame their party as the Center expedited the process of bifurcation. We will issue notices seeking clarification from them shortly” he said adding that such leaders need not to stay put in until draft bill comes to Assembly.
He said that Telangana Draft bill will come to the Assembly in December first week. And proroguing of Assembly was not an issue, which actually formed part of administrative process.
To a question, the PCC president said all the leaders in the Congress were eligible for Chief Ministership.
He attributed that division among Seemandhra leaders led to bifurcation of the state.
