Botsa Complaints To Sonia Against CM

The Congress high command on Sunday made enquiries about the tension prevailing in Vizianagaram in connection with the Samaikyandhra stir.

AICC in-charge of State affairs Digvijay Singh, Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and Advisor to Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, telephoned to PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana and enquired about the present situation in Vizianagaram, the native place of Botsa.

The PCC chief is learnt to have complained that the agitators had the backing of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who had clearly instructed the police not to take any action against the agitators.

“It was at the behest of Kiran that the Seemandhra agitation is being intensified. He is not taking any steps to douse fire,” Botsa told the high command.
