The latest news from the BJP stable is that both TDP head Chandra Babu Naidu and YSRCP leader Jagan had given similar assurances to BJP President Rajnath Singh.
State BJP leader Kishan Reddy has revealed that Babu and Jagan, each promised 25 seats if BJP withdrew its support to Telangana.
He said no matter what they assured, BJP stood by its promise and supported the cause of the Telangana people.
Though one is not sure what would have happened had the BJP made a U-turn on the Telangana issue, it would have surely meant national shame for the Saffron party.
