The finding of some material supposedly used in black magic rituals quite adjacent to the residence of Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Nandinagar in Banjara Hills created panic on Tuesday.
Some locals close to KCR’s residence noticed lemons, mirchi, vermillion, turmeric powder, a doll, a black hen feather, egg, a bunch of human hair and other such material, besides a yellow saree, at an open plot located next to the residence of the former Chief Minister.
They immediately brought it to the notice of the police, who reached the spot, even as the local basti people got panicky following the report of the black magic went viral on social media.
The clues team reached the spot and took photographs of the scene. The police are investigating the source of the material.
It is rumored that some people might have performed black magic rituals at the plot the previous night and left behind the articles. However, the police have so far not confirmed the angle.
It is not immediately known whether it was an act of mischief by some people, or whether somebody had really done it.
At present, KCR is staying mostly at his farmhouse at Erravelli and it is his son KTR who is staying there along with the family. Yet, KCR has performed Vedic rituals at his residence. So, such black magic won’t have any effect on him, say BRS sources.
