The Bharatiya Janata Party is gearing up the party leaders and cadre in Telangana for the upcoming assembly elections in the state and has started its war room to work out various strategies.
Top party strategies including Shalini, Prakash Javadekar and Sunil Bansal have already plunged into action to activate the party cadre and implement the action plan under the directions of Union home minister Amit Shah, who is laying special focus on Telangana.
According to party sources, Shah has instructed that all the top leaders including state BJP president G Kishan Reddy should fight the assembly elections, so that everybody should be in the fray and not in Delhi. A war room has been set up in Delhi to monitor the electioneering.
Sources said the BJP leadership has already finalised the names of top leaders of the party and the constituencies they would be contesting. A list of such leaders has been in circulation among the party circles in Hyderabad.
According to the list, former minister and present Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender would contest from Gajwel, the home constituency of Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. So, Eatala would be confronting KCR, unless the latter decides to change his constituency.
Others, who would be in the race include: G Kishan Reddy from Amberpet, K Laxman from Musheerabad, Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar, Soyam Bapu Rao from Boath, Dharmapuri Arvind from Armoor, M Raghunandan Rao from Dubbak, D K Aruna from Gadwal and A P Jitender Reddy from Mahabubnagar or Narayanpet.
Similarly, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy would contest from Munugode, P Muralidhar Rao from Vemulawada or Kukatpally, N Indrasena Reddy from L B Nagar, G Vivek from Chennur, Vijayashanti from Medak, Y Lakshminarayana from Nizamabad Urban and N V Ramachandra Rao from Malkajgiri.
While N V S S Prabhakar would contest from Uppal, Achary would be in fray from Kalwakurthy; Jayasudha from Secunderabad, Maheshwar Reddy from Nirmal, Ramesh Rathod from Asifabad, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy from Khammam, Babu Mohan from Andole and Nandeeshwar Goud from Patancheru.
Kuna Srisailam Goud would be in the fray from Qutbullapur, Bura Narsaiah Goud from Bhongir or Ibrahimpatnam, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Tandur, Garikapati Mohan Rao from Warangal, Eatala Jamuna from Huzurabad and Vikram Goud from Goshamahal.
