![BJP Says It Has No Leaders In Telangana!](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos9/ga_politics1611037702.jpeg)
Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in Telangana often claim that their party is the only alternative to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and it had all the chances of coming to power in the 2019 elections.
However, BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao has dropped the gun much before the battle has begun. He openly admitted before the media, albeit indirectly, that the party does not have the capacity to come to power on its own in Telangana.
“We hardly have 30-40 leaders worth mentioning their names in Telangana. This is not enough to come to power. We need to improve our strength and build up a strong cadre in the coming years, if at all we dream of coming to power in the state,” he said.
Even among these 30-40 leaders, one can hardly count the names who have the recognition among the people. All the others are confined to their own localities and not even constituencies. And financially, too, there are none who can spend big money to win the seat, leave alone capturing power at the state-level.
So, they have only one option – either continue alliance with the TDP (which will be disastrous) or with the TRS (which will sustain the party for some more time). It is better they do not dream of coming to power on their own!
