Leaders of Telangana BJP are unhappy with Jeevitha’s appointment as the Censor Board member. In fact, some BJP members are discussing the same quite openly.
It is known that Jeevitha and her husband Rajasekhar had joined BJP after joining and various political parties. Also, they have been in the party for only some time now and many members feel they weren’t active after their entry.
Since the announcement has come as a sudden shock to BJP members, many are unhappy with the development. They maintain that if the post had been given to another member who had worked for the party for many years, then it would have made sense. But since Jeevitha is a new entrant, they are unable to digest the fact.
However, they seem to be missing the point that Jeevitha being an actress might have worked in her favour as she understands the medium better.
