
Bharatiya Janata Party might not have fared better in the municipal and local body elections, but it hopes to win half a dozen MLA seats and a couple of MP seats in the Telangana region.
And in the long run, it hopes to establish its base in the region, according to BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy. He said on Tuesday that the BJP would strive hard to strengthen its organisation and base in Telangana region.
Nagam expressed satisfaction over the outcome of municipal elections in Telangana. However, he said that the BJP would strengthen itself further in the region.
He expressed confidence that the results of Assembly and Lok Sabha elections would be in favour of TDP-BJP combine in Telangana.
He said people have given a positive vote in favour of Narendra Modi. He expressed confidence of winning from Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat.
Nagam also hoped that the BJP would win more than 300 seats to form the next government at the Centre.
He said Modi would be the next Prime Minister and unlike Dr Manmohan Singh, he would act as a strong Prime Minister. He said Modi would address the issues like unemployment and welfare of farmers, women and minorities on priority basis.
