On the eve of results day, there is heavy betting in the state. After betting on YSRCP initially, now heavy bets are being placed on TDP.
Since the TDP has had unexpected success in municipal, mandal and ZPTC polls, it has become a favourite with the bookies. At one time, the odds have been 1 to 5 for TDP. But after a few exit polls have titled in favour of YSRCP, there is tension among betters once again. Punters are placing bets running into crores without a second thought. Some betters have also conducted independent surveys and are placing bets based on the results.
Though the result is more or less decided in Telangana, there is neck-to-neck competition in Seemandhra. Due to this, the bets are also quite high in Seemandhra when compared to Telangana.
Maximum bets are being placed on who will become the CM of Seemandhra between Chandra Babu and Jagan. Bets are also being placed on some special constituencies. Here, it has to be mentioned that some politicians are also involved in betting.
Despite betting being illegal, there is heavy betting in Seemandhra which is proof of gambling streak in human beings.
