![Behind The Scene: Why Go Soft On TDP?](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos7/pawankalyan11.jpg)
Along expected lines, Pawan Kalyan did not criticise the TDP at his Kakinada meeting and neither did the TDP after the meeting.
Responding to Pawan Kalyan’s speech, Chandrababu Naidu merely asked Pawan to spell out any strategy, if he had one, to get special status to AP.
There is no harm in the CM asking for advice but what is still unfathomable is this: When the BJP has pretty much made it clear that there would be no special status given to AP, how can any self-respecting party continue in an alliance with them? Even the special package announcement turned out to be a dud!
Is Naidu so scared of the corruption in Amaravati and the Revanth Reddy case that he is even willing to compromise the respect of the Andhras to stay out of jail?
As for Pawan Kalyan, why does he not castigate the TDP at all? Did not Chandrababu give a letter in support of Telangana? And what was the first thing that Naidu said after Telangana was announced in 2014?
It was not a call to the UPA to take back its decision but a request for Rs 5 lakh crore for a new capital. But it is only the Congress and BJP which are at fault according to Pawan Kalyan.
