Both Harish Rao and KTR are locked in a fierce battle to establish themselves as the political successors of KCR.
While Harish Rao is in charge of ‘Mission Kakatiya’, KTR is looking after the ‘water grid works’.
The TRS government released Rs 173 crore for first phase of ‘Mission Kakatiya’ and Rs 1518 crore for the ‘water grid’ projects.
Although Harish Rao started the implementation of ‘Mission Kakatiya’ earlier, KTR is reported to be very much intent on completing the ‘water grid project’ first.
Judging by the amount released for both the schemes, it is not difficult to observe who the current favorite of KCR is.
A majority of the TRS cabinet is also said to be favoring KTR for obvious reasons. However, at the end of the day, it is a unanimous opinion that KTR is absolutely no match to Harish Rao on any count: Competency, charisma, goodwill, oratory skills or strategy.
