Chandrababu Naidu is not denying an appointment to any nation or industrialist evincing an interest in Andhra Pradesh.
From heads of State to CEO’s of prominent corporations, he has probably given a power point presentation to hundreds of people to date, outlining his vision for AP.
Unfortunately for Naidu most of the people he is interacting with seem to be putting forward proposals on how AP can make use of their expertise rather than investing in Andhra Pradesh.
In other words they are looking for AP to pay for their services. If Naidu needs to realize his plans, then he definitely cannot do without assistance from the Center.
So far, AP has received Rs 850 crore for development of backward regions, Rs 400 crore towards Hudhud relief and another Rs 1600 crore for construction of new capital.
Against this backdrop, there is no way Naidu can go about attracting investors. The special status is the only tool capable of skyrocketing the progress of AP.
Otherwise our lives will continue to remain the same even in 2025.
