Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu naidu seems to be timing the defection of YSRCP MLA's into his camp with a definite objective in mind. That objective is the upcoming budget session in the Assembly.
The YSRCP is chalking out an aggressive strategy to question the government on the allocations made to Amaravathi and there are bound to be a lot of heated exchanges.
Also, truth be told, the magnitude of the scale of corruption in Amaravathi is so huge that there is no way any government can provide a proper justification for it.
Therefore, the defection of the YSRCP MLA’s to the TDP led by the likes of Bhuma Nagi Reddy couldn’t have been timed any better.
Also, Naidu’s ploy is to get as many YSRCP MLA’s evicted from the Assembly on charges of misconduct to ensure a smooth passage for the Bill. With a TDP man in the Speaker’s chair, it shouldn’t be very difficult either.
