Find out where government lands in and around your city are! Then gather around a hundred similar families and start staying in those lands.
If somebody approaches you from the government then take the help of the local MLA or the ‘Opposition MLA’. They will be more than glad to help you.
In fact, they will get you the voter ID’s and Aadhar cards enabling you to vote for them en masse. In the meanwhile, pay taxes regularly to the government.
This means that the government would be at fault for collecting taxes from illegal households, hence they are duty bound to legalize those households. That’s what the Supreme Court said in one instance.
Anyways, come election times, the Parties themselves will promise to regularize those lands! Your dream has been achieved!
Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister of AP, KE Krishnamurthy has issued a statement saying, “The Revenue Department will organize zonal Revenue conventions to sort out the issues related to the regularization of waste lands under the occupancy of poor. Many poor people have built houses on waste lands. These need to be regularized as the people have been living there for a long time.”
