Dismayed at the unilateral decision of Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha to release all seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi case for electoral gains, Rahul Gandhi expressed his unhappiness saying, “How can she allow the killers of my father to go scot free? He was the Prime Minister. If this happens to me, what justice can the common man expect?”.
Looking at the issue in an objective fashion, was Rahul and his mother not guilty of the same offence when they went ahead with their decision to divide Andhra Pradesh in a unilateral fashion without any sort of consensus or debate, purely for electoral gains?
Only when the issue becomes personal does one realize how much it hurts.
What harm is there in allowing seven convicts to go free when Jaya can gain politically from it?
The concerns of crores of Seemandhra people were not at all a priority for you?
