Many were surprised when Nagarjuna took the decision to voluntarily demolish the illegal blocks of his N-Convention after being served a notice by the authorities.
Up to that time, everyone had felt that Nag was trying to resolve the issue through Dil Raju, the Telangana producer.
But Nag demolishing the illegal structures of his own volition proved that he was in the wrong and that N Convention had indeed encroached upon the lake. But more importantly, without seeking a compromise, Nag had declared his unwillingness to negotiate with KCR.
Rather than bow to the diktats of KCR, Nag chose to go by the rule book and thus preserve his dignity.
It is also worth noting that while Nag congratulated Chandrababu in person after the latter became CM, he did not visit KCR. Perhaps that is why KCR is pissed off with him.
