Behind The Scene: Nuisance Unlimited!

The TDP government proposes to make 'Aadhar' mandatory for all the citizens of the new State of Andhra Pradesh. This is tipped to be the first-of-its-kind policy (madness?) in the country.

As many as 21 services of the government such as LPG, RTA, Municipal Property Taxes, Commercial Taxes, Animal Husbandry, Mee Seva etc etc will be linked to Aadhar. This would mean that property tax, other state taxes, power bill and land registration will be linked to Aadhar.

According to authorities, nearly 90% of the 4.8 crore AP population are covered by Aadhar. The key objective of the proposed Aadhar policy is to eliminate ineligible candidates from getting benefits of government welfare schemes.

But Naidu is once again creating a huge nuisance to the common public by making Aadhar mandatory!

Has the Supreme Court itself not ruled that Aadhar is not mandatory for availing essential services?

Why is Naidu then hell-bent on this new scheme which is anyways not approved of by the public in the first place?

People faced untold miseries in applying for an Aadhar card and the whole scheme while theoretically brilliant was found to be woefully inadequate when it came to practical implementation.

Trust Naidu to come up with ways to torture the people!
