New Delhi: Union Minister of Urban Development and Information Technology M Venkaiah Naidu is known for his witty one-liners and alliteration.
Last Thursday as Naidu enlisted the benefits of demonetisation and importance of digital payments, he asked reporters, "nobody is keeping notes these days, no?"
Confused reporters thought he was asking whether they were taking down notes and waved their notepads. The witty minister replied, "I meant currency notes."
