Anything is possible in politics and Andhra Pradesh. In the recent Union Budget, a mere Rs 100 crore was allotted for the Polavaram project which is the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh.
A gossip is doing the rounds regarding this issue which was published in the ‘Times of India’.
Dinesh Kumar, CEO of Polavaram Project Authority had sought 15000 square feet of space for his office but the Chandrababu Naidu government did not pay any heed.
Now after the paltry allocation to Polavaram project, the government is reportedly worried over whether Dinesh Kumar might not have taken interest in pursuing funds for Polavaram because his request was not given attention.
Whatever be the reasons, the AP government has now decided to not take any further risks and given Dinesh Kumar a brand new, swanky office in Hyderabad, moving him from his earlier dinghy establishment near the Secretariat.
