KVP Ramachandra Rao does not need any special designation or title. Anybody who is well-versed with Andhra politics is aware of KVP and his contribution to Andhra politics.
An intelligent man who operated as the right hand of late YSR, he was Chanakya of sorts who could pull quite a few strings in the Congress party.
Right now, KVP has shifted focus to BJP after realizing that the Congress may not come to power in the state any time soon.
Actually, what the party needs is a strong leader. Though there is no one leader, the party has many politicians vying for power.
So, talk in political circles is that KVP has decided not to wait for another four years to find out if the Congress would make a mark by chance. Though the elections were far away, his relative Raghurama Raju jumped into BJP.
Since he is already there, KVP does not need others to recommend him for entry into BJP.
Also, Amit Shah has been busy trying to mobilize and build cadre in the state. So, the timing seems to be perfect for KVP to make a smooth transit. However, the exact time has not been decided.
