Whatever reason Chandrababu Naidu might have had for sending a delegation to meet TRS MP Kesava Rao, KCR has used it to his advantage.
The TDP delegation which met Kesava Rao asked for the TRS support in the no-confidence motion being planned against the NDA government. Now, there is absolutely no way the TRS is going to support such a move.
Not only because of the mutual enmity between Chandrababu and KCR but also because of the numerous vexing problems between Andhra and Telangana. But KCR has used the TDP visit in a smart way.
A couple of days after the visit, he sent Harish Rao and KTR to Delhi with proposals for according national status to Kaleswaram project and more sops to the handloom industry in Telangana.
Should the occasion arise when BJP might have to ban on TRS support in Parliament, then KCR will undoubtedly extract his whole pound of flesh.
