Jana Sena leader Nagababu has been in the news for six months. Now, as the moment arrives, another surprising development has surfaced.
Reports suggest that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan himself advised Chandrababu that a corporation post would suffice for his brother, Nagababu, instead of a ministerial position.
Until yesterday, the narrative was different. It was widely reported that Nagababu would enter the council and secure a ministerial post.
It was said that Babu and Pawan had discussed this for an hour, with Nagababu's position being a key topic. However, by Tuesday evening, pro-TDP media suddenly claimed that Nagababu would not make it to the council.
According to sources, Chandrababu Naidu advised Pawan Kalyan not to push for Nagababu’s ministry. Reportedly, he presented survey results indicating that granting ministerial positions to two members of the same family could lead to backlash.
To avoid confusion, Chandrababu also have justified Lokesh’s ministry by highlighting his long-standing role in the party, prior experience as a minister, and status as the party’s heir.
In their discussion, Chandrababu is believed to have explained why Nagababu was not suitable for a ministerial post. Unable to find a convincing counter, Pawan Kalyan reluctantly agreed, simply nodding along.
Reacting to this, a Mega fan expressed frustration: “It doesn’t matter if Nagababu doesn’t get a position, but constantly floating his name for TTD Chairman, Rajya Sabha, or a ministerial post via MLC—only to finally settle him in a meaningless nominated role—is nothing but a delay tactic, playing with the emotions of both Mega fans and Jana Sainiks!”
