Injustice after injustice continues to be perpetrated against the Seemandhra people. Union Minister Jairam Ramesh has further stoked the raging fire of the Seemandhraites by stating that the entire revenue of Hyderabad will go to the Telangana region.
When Hyderabad is the joint capital of the two regions for a period of ten years, it is only fair that the revenue of the city be equally shared between the two regions.
By favoring only the Telangana region, what purpose would Hyderabad as the capital for the Seemandhraites serve if they are not going to get a single penny for their continued presence in the city?
Does this mean that businesses of the Seemandhra people will continue to contribute to the development of Telangana region in the form of taxation, but get nothing back in the form of support from the welfare activities of the government?
This decision will only encourage further exodus of the Seemandhra people and companies from Hyderabad making it completely bereft of the intellectual capital which is primarily responsible for putting Hyderabad on the world map.
