A lot of TDP biggies were swept away in the recent Jagan Mohan Reddy tsunami in Andhra Pradesh including the likes of Adinarayana Reddy, the JC Diwakar Reddy family, TG Venkatesh, Amarnath Reddy etc.
These are people with huge business empires and naturally, they are apprehensive of retaliation from Jagan’s camp now.
Therefore, all the above mentioned people are reportedly negotiating their entry into the BJP with AP BJP State President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana.
Admission into the BJP will be insurance for them against CBI raids, inquiries etc or even physical assaults.
Unconfirmed reports say that a meeting with Kanna will take place on June 11 and a decision taken accordingly.
The BJP is desperate to create an identity for itself in the Southern States and given this scenario, there is a strong possibility of these leaders being given asylum in that Party.
Yet, Modi and Amit Shah are not simpletons to trust these people blindly. They are champions in the ‘game of politics’ and rubbing them the wrong way can prove to be more dangerous than a tussle with YS Jagan.
