The first Assembly session of the newly formed Andhra Pradesh comprising 13 districts has ended today.
Being a seasoned politician and having served as the CM in the past, Chandra Babu sailed through the five days smoothly.
Even YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also made a decent debut in the state Assembly.
However, there are mixed opinions about the way Jagan conducted himself during the Assembly sessions.
There is one section of political analysts who feel that Jagan’s was a one-man show. They feel that barring Jagan, no other YSRCP leader took the initiative to discuss issues.
Since it is the first session and since it mostly revolved around the Governor’s speech, one can look at it as a minor aberration.
There is another section of analysts who feel that Jagan should prepare at least two to three leaders from his party to take up issues so that they can become a force to reckon with in the Assembly.
Already, there is criticism against Jagan that he behaves like a monarch who does not trust anyone. So, it is being widely felt that Jagan should provide an opportunity for other leaders to voice their concerns instead of stealing the limelight.
Another suggestion by political analysts is that it would be nice if Jagan used ‘ru’ instead of ‘du’ while addressing the Chief Minister in Telugu.
