More than anybody else, it appears to be Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is worried about the announcement made by his brother-in-law and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna that he would make a film on his father N T Rama Rao.
Soon after the media carried reports about the proposed film on NTR, Naidu called Balakrishna to his chambers in Vijayawada on Tuesday and enquired about the film.
He apparently told his brother-in-law that it is a sensitive subject connected with the sentiments of the Telugu people and hence, has to be dealt with very carefully.
“You should go about with the film only after getting the perfect script. Choose the storyline carefully so that you would not hurt anybody. Discuss with all the concerned people and make it into a legendary film. Any controversial element in the story would spoil the image of NTR,” Naidu told Balakrishna.
Needless to say, the TDP president is worried about how his role would be portrayed in the film, since it was because of him that NTR lost his power and finally his life.
And if Balakrishna drops the plan to make the movie, Naidu would be the happiest person on the earth.
