The custody of Revanth Reddy ends today and the TRS has directed the ACB to seek further extension whereas the TDP is going all out in its efforts to secure bail for him. This is an understandable move for equations can change once Revanth is out.
The current advantage after the sting operation is with the TRS. But should Revanth come out and decide to take on the TRS, then it could be quite a vicious verbal attack against KCR and his family.
The TDP too lacks such a personality in Telangana to take on KCR. it would also give heart to the TRS cadre in Telangana.
Aware of such consequences, the TRS government has directed the ACB to seek further extension on the grounds that the investigation has not yet been completed.
