Senior actor of Telugu film industry and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally agreed to campaign for the TDP in the ongoing assembly elections in Telangana.
A group of Telangana TDP leaders led by their president and party general secretary Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy called on Balakrishna on Monday at Annapurna film studio and discussed the campaign strategy.
According to party sources, Balakrishna will kick start a five-day intensified poll campaign on behalf of Congress-led Mahakutami from November 30.
He will visit Khammam, Ashwaropet and Sattupally assembly constituencies in old Khammam district on November 30 and December 1.
Subsequently, he will tour another five segments in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits from where TDP candidates are in the fray.
Meanwhile, Junior NTR and Kalyanram also are expected to jump into poll fray in the weekend for their sister in Kukatpally. However, they won’t be campaigning for other TDP candidates elsewhere in Telangana.
