Former minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Monday observed that Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has all qualities to become Chief Minister of the State.
Speaking at the ‘Samvatsara Avineethi Palanapai Samara Deeksha’ here at Indira Park on Monday, Anam said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was caught in the disgraceful episode of Revanth Reddy’s ‘note for vote’ scam and demanded that the latter tender resignation immediately and face inquiry.
He also strongly felt that Balakrishna would definitely replace Chandrababu Naidu as party supremo and chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The former finance minister opined that Revanth Reddy had just brokered the bribe deal at the direction of Chandrababu.
He said now the AP CM was trying to escape from the case by falsely raking up telephone tapping.
He also alleged that while Chandrababu was trying to create differences between the peoples of the two Telugu States, the Nandamuri fans want Chandrababu should step down and pave the way for “Balaiah” to take over the AP reigns.
Anam also slammed the BJP for adopting double-tongued policy with regard to ‘note for vote’ scam.
