YSRCP leader Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has commented that CM Chandra Babu’s agenda for the state of Andhra Pradesh is similar to that of a real estate brochure.
While being cautious about Babu’s plans for various districts, Sridhar Reddy said that he sincerely hoped that Babu had the wherewithal and expertise to ably lead the state on the path of development and progress.
Reddy said that he and his party would support anyone who would take up activities for the welfare of people.
However, Sridhar Reddy said that ever since Babu read out the list of various organizations, industries and airports he intended to develop in 13 districts of AP, the real estate dealers had jacked up the prices steeply by coming up with new and attractive brochures.
He said that the government should not merely stop at announcing grand plans and must now focus on coming up with a viable strategy to implement all their plans and development programmes.
Meanwhile, Congress ex minister Balaraju pointed out that Babu did not mention the cost of his plans throughout his speech.
He also wondered how Babu could think of developing another ship-building unit in Tuni while the Vizag shipyard was suffering from paucity of funds and lack of business.
However, TDP MLA Anjaneyulu said that Chandra Babu was very sincere in his vision for Andhra Pradesh.
He pointed out that while it is not possible to develop the entire state at a time, Babu would surely ensure overall development by taking up the proposed activities in a phased manner.
