APNGOs’ Association president P Ashok Babu’s vituperative comments against Telangana people have left the Telangana groups high and dry.
Ashok Babu said at a meeting in Anantapur on Monday that the Telangana people were slaves and they had no right over Hyderabad.
“If they wanted a separate state, they should quit Hyderabad and search for another capital, because it was Andhra people who had developed hospitals, schools and shopping malls in the city. If they have any shame, they should not enjoy any of these facilities,” he said.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLC Swamy Goud launched a counter-attack saying it was Seemandhra people who were parasites.
“Hyderabad city belongs to the people of Telangana and their grandparents. And nobody can deny it,” he said.
Condemning the statement of Ashok Babu on Hyderabad city, TRS legislator Jupalli Krishna Rao demanded that the Ministers from Telangana region to tender their resignations immediately, to mount pressure on the issue of Hyderabad.
Telangana TDP convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao has lashed out at the APNGOs leader Ashok Babu and warned the latter to keep his tongue under control.
