AP NGOs president Ashok Babu seems to have mastered the language of politicians in the last 50 days of the Samaikyandhra agitation and is now speaking like a hardcore politician, though he says he has no interest in politics.
“Even if our tongues are cut off and our legs are broken, there is no question of withdrawing our agitation,” Ashok Babu clarified. “We will participate and continue the agitation as dumb and handicapped persons if our tongues were cut off and legs were chopped off or fractured. We did not provoke anybody by our speeches”, he said and appealed not to distort the speeches.
If anybody got hurt by our speeches or they are misunderstood, we can solve the problem by negotiation, Ashok Babu said and emphasized that Telangana Telugu is part of the culture and not otherwise.
Staging that the present situation was caused due to some selfish leaders, he said MLAs should not tender their resignation as their presence was most important in the state assembly to defeat the Telangana bill if moved.
